Judy, Oz, and the Need for a Shared History

Join The History Project and author Dee Michel for a presentation on folkloric belief, gay history, and gay identity around Judy Garland and The Wizard of Oz. 

Dee Michel is author of Friends of Dorothy: Why Gay Boys and Gay Men Love The Wizard of Oz, and has given many talks on the Oz-gay connection. He served as a volunteer at Gay Community News and as the first male co-chair of the Gay Task Force of the American Library Association.
