BOSTON, MA (June 5, 2023) - The History Project (THP), Boston's LGBTQ+ community archives, has been awarded $12,000 in general operating funds from The Equality Fund at the Boston Foundation.
Since 2012, The Equality Fund at the Boston Foundation has supported Greater Boston nonprofit organizations serving and strengthening the LGBTQ+ community. The History Project is among 36 organizations supported by the Equality Fund in 2023.
"We're so grateful for the support of the Boston Foundation," said Joan Ilacqua, Executive Director of The History Project, "We also deeply appreciate the trust and support of the Equality Fund's Advisory Committee to provide general operating funds to meet our mission to document, preserve, and share LGBTQ+ history as we continue growing and strengthening The History Project."
