Recruiting Community for Stones to Rainbows/Gay to Queer Lives

Stones to Rainbows/Gay to Queer Lives is an installation and performance project developed from the intergenerational and cross-sectional dialogue among Boston area LGBTQ+ lives. Through workshops, facilitated interviews and archival research, community members and professional artists bring multi-media art forms together on a roving physical installation that also acts as a frame and backdrop for live dance, music, spoken word.

Stones to Rainbows is looking for artists and community to participate, click here to learn more and to submit your statement of interest by June 10th.

It is a project of Peter DiMuro/Public Displays of Motion, in collaboration with The History Project, Arlington Street Church, Ágora Cultural Architects and The Front Porch Arts Collective, with funding from the 2020 New England Foundation for the Arts' Creative City Award.

While The History Project was able to host an Experiential Info Session in early March, Stones to Rainbows is hosting a series of virtual Monthly Meet Ups with Collaborators, Artists, and Community. Check out Stones to Rainbows for dates and sign up!
