Sam Valentine (she/they), Tarot reader and THP’s Director of Archives & Outreach, will offer queer imaginings for the Tarot as an inclusive, supportive, and affirming tool for personal reflection and community care.
Going beyond the surface of LGBTQ+ imagery in modern reimaginings of historical tarot artwork, they’ll offer suggestions for creating new meanings and reimagining the cards’ interpretations.
No experience with the Tarot is required! This event is especially welcoming to anyone interested in working with the Tarot and looking for a place to start.
RSVP on Eventbrite, link to the Zoom will be sent out the day of the event. Email info@historyproject.org with any questions. For security purposes, Zoom meetings require an authenticated Zoom account, so please be sure to register with Zoom prior to the event.
This event is free and open to the public.
A limited number of written Tarot readings (delivered after the event, via PDF, to your registration email) are available with a $13 donation. If you would like a written Tarot reading with your ticket, please select that ticket type.
Any additional donations made support The History Project's mission to document, preserve, and share LGBTQ history. Thank you for your support!
