Join Invisible Histories Project for a free, virtual Queer History Teach In on February 25 from 11:00AM-2:30 PM CT.
Queer information and resources are heavily under attack in libraries, K-12 schools, and universities across the U.S. Book challenges and bills banning the teaching of Queer history and information (or even the mention of it) are emerging in multiple states and across the south. We're taking matters into our own hands and holding a Queer History Teach In.
Join IHP for a day full of Queer History! Lessons will be taught as 10-12 minute presentations on a range of topics by IHP and guest speakers. The History Project's Executive Director Joan Ilacqua will be presenting Reclaiming and Creating Boston’s Queer Space through Historical Reenactment - see the full list of presenters here.
Drop in as you can or spend the whole day learning with us. The event is free, but registration is required. Click here to register with Invisible Histories Project.
